Ultraroof is a stylish and strong tiled conservatory roof replacement that provides thermal efficiency with a U-value of 0.16 to give a warm and bright space.

What Ultraroof does is to provide the benefits of both a solid and glass roof, so you can enjoy your conservatory or extension all year round.

Ultraroof was originally called Ultraroof380 because of its box beam, which is its most crucial component. The box beam is 380mm wide and runs around the perimeter of the roof sitting on window frames and walls. This box beam gives Ultraroof its superior strength, meaning that it never needs a tie bar.

Its hybrid design allows for the inclusion of numerous glass panels or Velux windows. The choice of panels is yours; you can decide how much light penetration you want into the room.

With Ultraroof, you can maintain an optimum temperature in your conservatory or new room. Its thermally efficient design traps warm air where it’s most needed during the chilly autumn and winter months. While in summer, it prevents the room from overheating when the sun is shining.

Livinroof from Ultraframe

Livinroof allows you to extend your living space or create a new room that’s comfortable light, bright and suitable to use all year round.

With Livinroof, you don’t have to choose between a solid or glass conservatory roof because it gives you the best of both elements. You gain more privacy and comfort from the solid roof but without compromising on light.

Its design flexibility is great if you’re planning a new extension or replacing an existing conservatory roof. Its design is strong but stylish as its constructed from aluminium or insulated composite external panels and insulation.

Livinroof can be shaped to any building style. It can also be installed at a pitch as low as 5°. Because glazing can be inserted anywhere, and in any shape, you can focus light where it’s needed most.

These customisable glass panel options offer the ultimate in design flexibility as they can be inserted to replace any of the grey roofing panels. This makes Livinroof the most configurable solid roofing system available.

Meeting and exceeding legal requirements

For complete peace of mind, Ultraroof and Livinroof are the only solid roofs that have passed fire testing.

The complete assembled Ultraroof and Livinroof structures have been fire tested:

• Ultraroof is fire rated as B-roof according to EN 13501-5: 2016 - PASS
• Ultraroof is fire rated as AC according to BS476-3:2004 – PASS
• Livinroof is fire rated as B-roof according to EN 13501-5: 2016 - PASS
• Livinroof is fire rated as AA according to BS476-3:2004 - PASS - Aluminium panel
• Livinroof is fire rated as AB according to BS476-3:2004 - PASS - U-Tec panel

With a solid roof conversion, building regulations are a legal requirement, but this is something that Crown will take care of for you.
